07/27/2005: "Groceries of the Mid-Atlantic"

As grocery day descended upon the household once again, I took a needed break from writing and joined Chestnut on his foray into grocer's land where technicolor packaging and flourescent lights copulate higglety-pigglety and where glazed-over looks trapse alongside vacant stares in a somnambulant ode to consumption.

And I got to ride in the cart!

fish, what is your stance on eating fish?
my brain always feels agile after a nice plate of salmon or hailbut.
but then again, i enjoy talking fish in cartoons and real life, which presents problems for my fragile code of morality. please help and don't hate me for what i've done.
cheers,
r.e. wilson

Dear Mr. r.e.,

I can't imagine a world where one would be hated for eating something as nutritious as salmon. You have not left a bite-hole in my arm, so fret not.

P.S. Want to know a secret? Fish is just the name my parent's gave me; to be honest, I'm not sure what I am exactly.
