05/11/2005: "Back From The Land Of The Missing And Half-Remembered"
I cannot believe it's been four months since I've written! Man, time sure does fly when your computer doesn't work. Tumble says it's not his fault, but I'm pretty sure I didn't permit the site "Sweet Amateur Sex Teachers" to reformat my hard drive. I'm writing this from the Public Library, which isn't the public library I remember growing up. For starters, when I was a kid no one lived in the men's room and charged me a quarter to wash my hands. Anyhoo, I haven't been up to much. I'm working on a new play called "The Long, Cold Stare of War" starring Chestnut as Private Corporal Mr. Sergeant (the name's explained in the play) and Tumble has asked to play the Long Cold Stare, which wasn't actually a character, but I'm up for some rewriting. The other day, Tumble thought he'd discovered a new condiment, but Chestnut was quick to point out that mayonnaise and relish, even if Tumble called it "Funstard", was still just tartar sauce.
My new computer is coming in the mail, so I'll hopefully be back more frequently. Until then, all my best,
-F
