08/07/2004: "news from the road"

tumble is out of town for the week. he called me from the road to tell me he shaved his head.

i can't say i expected that. i asked him if he was bringing home a present, but then some guy outside the phone booth started yelling at him to get off the phone, so tumble had to go.

the guy sounded a lot like tumble.
